Lets talk about our babies bottoms, or at least what we put on them.
DIAPERS... I have tried almost every brand of diaper from expensive organic to your well known store brands and I am normally drawn to the absorbent, affordable, safe and basic diapers.

When thinking of the theme for Lincolns first birthday party, I wanted it to emphasize something that we love as a family but also is something personal to him. Lincoln is definitely our little explorer. This boy LOVES to be outside playing in the dirt, eating sand at the beach, pointing at all the trees and making bird noises. He is not afraid to get dirty and if I am not careful he will find a way to escape into the backyard and play alone for as long as I will let him.

Scenes from around our casa
Our eclectic home is a place to collect treasures that we love. I don't return from any adventure without something to add to my shelves... Sticks, pine cones, rocks, shells, sea glass, and even a tumble weed tells a story of adventures past! Thrifted furniture, antiques, handmade wood shelves, pottery, and one of a kind trinkets are what I am drawn to.
Why I will never apologize for taking photots...
A day will come when my kids are grown and gone and I will desperately miss the sounds a their squeals, the smell of their sweaty skin, the constant toy mess. I will regret my short temper, need to keep a clean house and all the times I told them "NO" to the things that didn't really matter all that much.My photos will be my time machine, the portal I need to remember the sounds and smells of what will be the "best years of our lives".

A DAY AT THE RANCH
Visiting the Ranch is always a good time and spending it with cousins made it a party. We all swam in the pond, ate yummy barbecue and visited with the horses. It was surreal visiting this place with my kids, a place I explored and adventured when I was a youngster. Playing Indians, climbing rocks, making hideouts...those memories are some of my favorites.

and He makes five.
On May 23rd at 8am my hubby and I loaded into our car after installing a third car seat and we headed to Sharp Mary Birch Hospital to finally meet our last baby boy. I was scheduled to be induced that day, which has been the same process for all three kids.
