Zoe, 

You are another month old, and this last month has been a blast. You are learning and trying so many new things and I truly enjoy watching you grow and change. People stop me everywhere we go to tell me how beautiful you are, and of course I agree! God blessed me with the most beautiful baby and I am so honored to call you MY DAUGHTER. You smile and laugh all the time and you already have such a spunky personality! Everyone loves you and I always feel so grateful by all the love and support we have as we raise you to grow in the image of God. I know I am not the perfect Mother, but I am the perfect MOTHER FOR YOU! Thank you for showing me that you love me, and please try to stop growing so fast...

Independence Day 2012

Once we were decked out in red, white and blue we were ready to visit the Grandparents for a boat ride around the lake and some swimming, before heading up to Lake Arrowhead. Independence Day is in my top three holidays, maybe it's the food, the anticipation for the fun and fireworks or just the pride I have in my Country. Being that Ian grew up in Lake Arrowhead it was fun for him to relive the fireworks he grew up with and also take Zoe for her first camping trip up in that fresh mountain air! We had a great time and my baby girl did so well, she even stayed awake to watch the magical fireworks. The camping part with a baby was a bit tough, but an experience to jot down in her memory book. All in all we had a blessed day and we are more proud than ever to call ourselves Americans!
