Traditions with our pumpkins...

For the past 5 years Ian and I have been coming to Bates Nut Farm in Escondido, CA as a traditional Fall Festivity.Every year it is normally HOT, crowded and super busy but it is a tradition I refuse to brake. Walking around the pumpkin field searching for the best and most unique pumpkin, taking pictures around the farm, buying some kind of nuts, going on a hay ride, walking through the corn maze, and spending time outside is what our Bates Nut Farm tradition is all about.

I believe traditions are an important part of what holds a family together and they are a form of stability in an ever changing world. My Mother has instilled in me the love of family traditions and I plan to do the same with my little ones...
Sometimes they may seem like something we do just to check it off the list (and some years it might be just that) but when you look back on past years those traditions always tell a story and they remind you of the many years and blessing you have had with Family and Friends!
Try to start a new tradition this year and make some memories!
