We spent last weekend being lazy in the snow, hot tea and a roaring fire kept us company while Daddy snowboarded. Zoe was a fan of the warm cabin, but once we stepped outside the snow was not her friend! My grand plan of taking her sledding will have to live in my mind until a future date when she enjoys the cold white blanket beneath her boots...

Love day with our Lil Valentine...

Love Day 2013...

This Valentines was the first one that I had no expectations for a unique gift, flower delivery, and mushy love notes and it was the first year I was 100% satisfied and not disappointed! My husband isn't the uber romantic and he definitely is not the worlds best gift giver (which is tough cause gifts are one of my languages of love). In the past 9 years I have learned this information and I have learned to adapt to other love languages. This year instead of the poems and roses he surprised me with a week to Cabo, Mexico and that was WAY better than chocolate and an over priced dinner out!!! 

Our little princess was our VALENTINE focus and it was so fun spoiling her with gifts, treats, kisses and a trip to Sea World! She is the sweetest thing on the planet and we are two very lucky parents!
