A changing perspective...

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

How I love him!

I have been working hard to document our daily moments, I want a place I can look back and see the significant and the insignificant days with my kids.

7/52 weeks

Well, I have skipped a few weeks (which was expected with the challenge) but I am determined to keep going and just give myself some grace on the weeks I skip.

26 weeks fashion...

Baby Boy is growing fast and with this growing baby comes a growing belly and a "expanding" wardrobe.

Change...

There are many days I wonder what we will look like as a family of five. I wonder how our life will change and what things will be more difficult or even feel impossible with another one calling my name and pulling at my shirt for attention.

Music & Beer night at Aloha Beach Club

Thursday night my hubby and his brother and their friend played some music at Aloha Beach Club in North Park. We had a great night with friends hanging out in the coolest shop, enjoying great beer and listening to awesome music.

xoxo.My little Valentines

Prepping for Zoes school Valentines party has been so fun, the kids each happily wrote their Valentines (Jude did some for Zoes classmates as well since he will attend her party), filled the party goodie bags, and decorated cookies.

Why "No"...?

Today while driving on the freeway to run errands, I rolled down all four windows and let the warm wind hit our faces and mess up our hair. I drove speechless for fifteen minutes while holding back my tears as I looked in my rear view mirror at the beaming smile and constant thumbs up from my girl. My tears were a mix of happy and sad tears.

NYC

We are cousins who were raised more like sisters. At 3 weeks apart (Elyse older) we have gone through just about every stage of life together. I cannot remember many monumental milestones that didn't include her smiling face.

The BIG question...

Why baby number 3...?
It is pretty crazy how when you announce baby number one everyone rejoices, they throw parades in your honor, shower you with congratulations, buy you gifts, and party like its 1999. Baby number two is still super exciting for most with maybe a little less partying, but when baby number three is announced you would think you just told the world you were about to end your life and say goodbye to any dreams you ever had. Some people treat you like your a crazy person, and view you as irresponsible for bringing to many little humans into the world.

Ian- just ran out the door to his softball playoffs, he has truly enjoyed playing a weekly sport and I have loved the quiet "alone" time one night a week after the kids go to bed!
