I believe this was the first time I have ever went trick-or-treating and I am 25 and sadly I didn't even come home with a piece of candy. Growing up we always went to Hallelujah parties at church, I can't say I felt like I missed out since I did not know any different. Ian on the other hand did always experience the door to door sugar rush of excitement, so it will be interesting what story our kids have when they talk about our family Halloween traditions.
This year for Zoe's first and last Halloween in the womb we went as a Mommy Indian with her Papoose, and Daddy went as the Mayhem Man (from the Allstate commercials). We spent the evening with family at my Sister and Brother-in-Laws trick-or-treating, eating yummy chili and cornbread, sipping cider, giving out candy to all the adorable kids, and sadly watching our San Diego Chargers loose...
