Ready or Not...?

How can I be so ready, but also soooo not ready at the same time... Tonight it hit me that her delivery is not in my future it is now in the present! This thing can HAPPEN ANY TIME and I HAVE TO BE READY! I guessed her delivery date for the 10th, my Doctor is on call the 10th, and it is a full moon on the 10th, but the 10th is in like 20 minutes away...am I ready? I am ready... To meet my daughter, To kiss her, To count her fingers and toes, To see my Husband become a Dad, To see my Parents become Grandparents, To show her off, To bring her home, To introduce her to Bella, To take a million pictures of her, To smell her baby smell, To start making memories with her. I am NOT ready... For the pain of childbirth or To give up my belly bump. Since it is obvious that the positives outway the negatives I would have to pray that the 10th is her big arrival date, but if it is not then at least I know I only have a few weeks at the most... A close friend told me " just remember no one stays pregnant forever"! Only time will tell, so for now night night world and baby girl... Xoxo Mommy
