Waiting...

it is 5am and i am holding a baby in my left arm and trying to type with on;y my right so ignore the grammatical errors. as i sit up with this little one waiting for her to eat, waiting for her to burp, waiting for her to finish pooping, and waiting for her to fall a sleep so i can, i realize i shouldn't be waiting... i should be watching! watching her breath, watching her move, watching her ever changing facial expressions, because today is all i have guaranteed and i will never have this exact moment to watch again. Next week she will be a month old, yes a whole month meaning i only have 217 more before she is an adult!!!! life is precious and it is in the waiting for what is next that you miss the watching what is right before your eyes....
