My first Mothers Day started a bit shaky as I drove baby girl to Grandmas alone since Daddy was home with the nasty stomach bug! I was more than a little sad that the man that made me a Mother wasn't there to celebrate with me, but as I am learning life doesn't always pan out as we dreamed about...
I am blessed that I had wonderful people to celebrate with and in the end I couldn't have asked for a better day. The sun was glorious, the company fun as always, food yummy to my tummy and my baby girl had just popped her first tooth...
Life is good (and Hubby got better )so no complains here!
Here are some pics of our day...
Mommy this was supposed to be posted on Mothers Day... Better late than never!
You know that moment when your face to face to a person and you don't have the right words to express the feelings you have going on inside, it normally happens with someone you love, well Mommy I have had that feeling for 27 years. There is absolutely no words that could ever express the love and thankfulness that I have for you. I have been blessed with a thousand amazing Moms into one. You have been my tutor, cheerleader, cook, chauffeur, person shopper, mentor, critic, biggest fan, house cleaner, nurse, room mom, nanny, and moving crew, but most of all my BEST FRIEND.
You are my HERO and my ROLE MODEL and I couldn't image a day without you in my life. You have ALWAYS been their for me when friends turned their back, when I was heartbroken and scared you were in my corner to hold me with kind words and a warm hug. Every Daughter deserves to feel special and loved by their Mommy and I have made it my life goal to treat Zoe with the kind of love and never ending support that you have shown me.
From the deepest depths of my soul I say...
THANK-YOU
