Easter 2014

Easter was different this year as a family of four.

Due to the chaos that Easter morning brings, and loading the car for a trip to Palm Springs meant only one thing... we missed church! I know, I know, but life goes on and so did we straight to our desert safe haven. Once we were all in the car we started the three hour drive with a few stops along the way which included... nursing in a gas station, deli sandwiches from Stater Bros, and Dinosaurs! 

This year made one heck of a memorable first Easter for Jude(not like he will remember it)and I wouldn't have changed a thing, well maybe we could have made church. Once we arrived to our little piece of desert Heaven our Easter celebrations could being.We sent the next 3 days the with family swimming in the pool,eating,drinking,laughing, and watching our kiddos be kiddos!

My Kryptonite

Some days I feel like I cant handle anymore, the crying between two kids, diapers and messes seem never ending. I want to press the restart button, easy button, pause button, mute button any button that will make life easier and less stressful. I wonder if I will ever have a organized house again, my nails painted, clean hair, free time and then I look into their eyes... I melt. They are my kryptonite, my weakness, and I fall in love all over again. These little beings make me want more, more kisses, more snuggles, more tickles and giggles. The messes can be still and wait for another time my attention is elsewhere. I'm focused on my daughter running through the sprinklers and my sons first smiles, those memories they wont remember and I will never forget.

Pony Tricks...

I wore my hair in the double pony a few times in high school. I wanted to accomplish that longer fuller look and who knew it would become the "thang" to do!
